Team Truck Driver (Class A) – $140k‑$160k Salary

About the role

R+L Carriers is hiring Class A Team Drivers to operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers enjoy a 5‑day on‑road schedule followed by 2 days at home each week.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and deliver freight using van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers.
• Maintain a consistent 5‑day on‑road, 2‑day home schedule.
• Transport freight safely between service centers and designated turn‑points.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of combined verifiable experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition specs).
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Experience with double‑trailer handling.
• Hazmat endorsement (preferred).
• LTL freight handling experience (preferred).
