Team Truck Driver (CDL‑A) – $140k‑$160k

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced CDL‑A Team Drivers to transport van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers enjoy a predictable schedule of five days on the road followed by two days at home.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and deliver van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers across assigned routes.
• Maintain safe operation of equipment and adhere to all DOT regulations.
• Complete weekly routes within the five‑day on‑road schedule.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and service centers.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of combined verifiable Class A experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition qualification).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stoop without difficulty; dependable and safety‑focused.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Experience with double‑trailer or triple‑trailer handling.
• Hazmat endorsement (preferred).
• Tanker endorsement (preferred).
• LTL freight experience (preferred).
