Tax Manager

About the role

Join Aprio’s Tax team as a Tax Manager and lead a group of tax professionals delivering high‑quality tax services to fast‑growing clients. You will shape tax strategies, ensure compliance, and drive client satisfaction while working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, delegating tasks and overseeing deliverables.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that align with changing tax laws and client objectives.
• Provide consulting on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and other tax‑related matters.
• Conduct tax research to stay current on regulations and identify planning opportunities.
• Prepare and review federal tax returns for S‑Corporations, partnerships, individuals, and corporations.
• Communicate with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to resolve tax issues efficiently.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of service satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• 6+ years of federal tax consulting or compliance experience in a public accounting firm.
• CPA or EA designation preferred.
• Experience with S‑Corp, partnership, individual, and corporate tax returns.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with tax software and related technology.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setting.
