About the role

As a Tax JD Intern at PwC in San Francisco, you will join the Tax practice for the summer of 2027. The internship offers a dynamic learning environment where you will gain exposure to global tax issues, support client projects, and develop professional skills in tax law and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Participate in the preparation and review of consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
• Assist in corporate tax planning and compliance activities to optimize tax positions.
• Engage in tax modeling and consulting to address client‑specific tax challenges.
• Contribute to post‑deal integration and tax‑finance integration projects.
• Collaborate on purchase and sale agreements to facilitate seamless transactions.
• Conduct research on tax regulations and industry‑specific tax issues.
• Apply intellectual curiosity to explore innovative tax solutions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Juris Doctorate degree.
• Commitment to meet educational requirements and pass the Bar exam before a full‑time start.
• Typically in the second year of a three‑year JD program at the time of application.
• Preference for a minimum 3.5 overall GPA.
