About the role

As a Tax JD Associate at PwC in Detroit, you will support clients in navigating complex global tax regulations, delivering tailored tax strategies and compliance solutions. The position is designed for candidates entering the profession in Summer/Fall 2027, offering exposure to tax planning, corporate transactions, and post‑deal integration.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret global tax regulations to optimize client strategies and mitigate risk.
• Prepare consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
• Assist with corporate tax planning and support tax aspects of corporate transactions.
• Participate in post‑deal integration, including tax and finance integration activities.
• Develop tax models and contribute to tax consulting engagements.
• Research tax implications of purchase and sale agreements.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a Juris Doctorate degree.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Commitment to meet educational requirements and pass the Bar exam before full‑time start.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for client engagements.
