About the role

As a Tax JD Associate at PwC in Chicago, you will work directly with clients to navigate complex global tax regulations, support compliance and corporate tax planning, and contribute to post‑deal integration projects. The role provides exposure to tax consulting, research, and client engagement while you build technical expertise and a professional brand.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate global tax regulations to optimize strategies and minimize risks.
• Prepare consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
• Assist in corporate tax planning and corporate transactions.
• Participate in post‑deal integration, including tax and finance integration.
• Collaborate with teams to develop tax models and provide consulting services.
• Analyze purchase and sale agreements for tax implications.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a Juris Doctorate degree.
• Overall GPA of at least 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Commitment to meet educational requirements and pass the Bar exam before full‑time start.
• Entry‑level candidate in final academic year or recent graduate.
