About the role
As a Systems Test Engineer you will join Philips’ Patient Interface Mask group, responsible for end‑to‑end development of wearable medical devices. You will support all systems test activities required for the release, relaunch, and maintenance of FDA‑regulated products.
Key responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for release and updates of CPAP masks and wearable devices through all verification and validation (V&V) activities.
- Own product lifecycle from concept through launch and obsolescence.
- Coordinate validation activities to meet customer needs and ensure product reliability and satisfaction.
- Support development testing prior to verification and validation phases.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create clear, testable requirements and detailed test plans.
- Leverage team strengths and shared responsibilities to drive project success.
Required profile
- Experience in the medical device industry with knowledge of global regulations and standards, and a track record creating test plans, procedures, and requirement traceability matrices.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science discipline (required); a master’s degree is a plus.
- U.S. work authorization and residence within commuting distance to Murrysville, PA.
Required skills
- Development of V&V test plans and test procedures.
- Creation and maintenance of requirements traceability matrices.
- Test reporting and validation of test methods (TMV).
- Design of Experiments (DOE) and gauge repeatability & reproducibility (gage R&R).
- Working knowledge of global medical device regulations, requirements, and standards.
