Systems Engineer IV

About the role

As a Systems Engineer IV you will design, integrate, and optimize complex optical lithography systems that enable next‑generation semiconductor chips. You will work across cross‑functional teams to develop specifications, conduct testing, and ensure high‑quality delivery for advanced packaging markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify scope, constraints, and risks for design, fabrication, testing, and volume production of high‑performance optical components.
• Lead subsystem and optical assembly projects, planning, scheduling, and monitoring cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers on critical optical sub‑assemblies and maintain error budgets.
• Define and execute system test plans, perform DOE experiments, and validate performance against requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues in manufacturing and field, implement diagnostics and calibrations.
• Develop and maintain optical metrology hardware/software for automated performance measurement.

Required profile

• MS or PhD in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–10 years of experience designing, assembling, and calibrating opto‑mechanical instrumentation in a volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Design and integration of complex optical systems.
• Data analysis and visualization.
• Programming/scripting in Matlab, Python.
• System and subsystem level software debugging.
• Image processing and software automation (preferred).
• Optical metrology development and qualification.
