Systems Engineer – Electrical Apps Support and Administration

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Systems Engineer to provide support and administration for a range of electrical and EDA/CAE applications. The position is remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States, with occasional travel to project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Administer user accounts, license servers and application environments.
• Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patches and license management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering application issues while meeting SLA targets.
• Set up and configure license servers, integrate tools with HPC clusters, cloud platforms and PLM systems.
• Support onboarding of new users and provide technical guidance across Windows and Linux environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0‑2+ years of experience supporting electrical engineering applications in a global IT environment.
• Ability to work remotely across the US and travel to project locations as needed.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with AGI/STK (Satellite Toolkit).
• Cadence EDA tools.
• Dassault Systèmes CATIA/3DEXPERIENCE.
• SPARK3D, CST and other EM simulation tools.
• ETAP power system analysis tools.
• Keysight ADS and SystemVue.
• Siemens Mentor Graphics, Xpedition, HyperLynx.
• License server setup, environment configuration and user onboarding.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems; PowerShell scripting.
• Integration of tools into HPC clusters, cloud services and PLM/PDM systems.
