Systems Administrator – DB2, SQL Server & Oracle Expert

About the role

We are looking for a senior Systems Administrator with deep expertise in enterprise database platforms to join our Tallahassee team. The role focuses on managing, optimizing, and supporting DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server, and Oracle environments within complex application infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily operational and administrative tasks for DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server 2008R2/2012, and Oracle 10g+ databases.
• Design, implement, and maintain database structures, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot database performance issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive administration procedures and documentation.
• Conduct SQL code reviews and mentor junior technical staff.
• Lead DB2 for z/OS upgrades, catalog maintenance, and point‑in‑time recovery operations.
• Collaborate with application teams to integrate databases with z/OS workloads.

Required profile

• 15+ years of combined database administration experience across DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS environment, JCL, and related mainframe tools.
• Proven ability to train and mentor technical staff.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
