About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Surgical Technician to work in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit. This regular, full-time position supports surgical procedures and ensures a safe, sterile environment for patients and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team during procedures in the L&D department.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with infection-control and sterile-technique standards.
- Document instrument counts and assist with post-operative processing.
