About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit. This position joins a collaborative health‑care team focused on delivering high‑quality patient care and advancing medical education and research.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the surgical team in preparing and maintaining a sterile environment for L&D procedures.
  • Handle, organize, and account for surgical instruments and supplies during cases.
  • Support patient positioning and equipment setup as directed by surgeons and nurses.

Required profile

  • Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
