Supply Technician

About the role

The Supply Technician supports the Nursing Stocking and Finance departments at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences by managing medical and ancillary supplies. This full‑time, onsite position ensures that clinical areas have the necessary inventory to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for medical and support supplies.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and distribute supplies to nursing units and other clinical areas as needed.
• Assist with inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with finance staff to track supply costs and support budgeting activities.

Required profile

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, are encouraged to apply.
