Supply Engineering Team Lead (US Market Experience Required)

About the role

The Supply Engineering Team Lead reports directly to the Chief Technical Officer and heads a team of four Supply Engineers. The role is split roughly 80% leadership, process improvement and cross‑functional collaboration, and 20% hands‑on supply engineering to support peak workloads and complex projects. Experience with US‑based suppliers and international markets is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of four Supply Engineers, assigning tasks, monitoring deadlines and providing performance feedback.
• Coordinate procurement operations, launch production by ensuring glass orders and required hardware are available.
• Plan inventory levels, forecast procurement needs and maintain accurate material lists from technical drawings.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, managing pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve quality or logistics issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, Estimators, Warehouse and Installation teams to support engineering changes and material substitutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer, Supply Engineer or similar role focused on the US market.
• Previous people‑management or team‑lead experience.
• Proven experience working with international suppliers across multiple regions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Fluent English; Russian language skills are a plus.
