Supply Engineer – Construction

About the role

Crystalia Glass LLC is seeking a Supply Engineer with a technical background to oversee supply and procurement activities for glazing construction projects. The role is fully remote, operating on EST hours, and is essential for ensuring smooth project execution and high‑quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Launch and control production processes, including setting up glass orders and verifying hardware availability.
• Plan inventory by forecasting demand and ensuring warehouse stock levels.
• Source and evaluate local and international suppliers, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
• Order consumables for installation teams and warehouses, track order status, and resolve delivery issues.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to create accurate material lists and verify dimensions, finishes, and quality requirements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documents and coordinate component orders for container arrivals.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, designers/engineers, and estimators to support substitutions, change orders, and budgeting.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain, or engineering within construction or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Fluent in English (C1) and Russian (C1).
• Strong organizational skills and experience creating material lists from specifications.
• Proven supplier negotiation and international sourcing experience.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and procurement systems in a multitasking environment.
