Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Humble Robotics is building an autonomous, zero‑emissions hauler and needs a Supply Chain Manager to turn vehicle designs into physical, deployable products. This hands‑on position leads sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and materials planning for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end supply‑chain strategy and execution for vehicle, autonomous technology, and charging hardware.
• Manage sourcing, procurement, and purchasing of mechanical, electrical, and electronic parts, balancing cost, quality, and lead time.
• Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers and contract manufacturers; lead negotiations on cost, terms, and long‑term agreements.
• Coordinate materials planning, inventory, and logistics with operations to mitigate supply risks.
• Partner with engineering to drive design‑for‑supply‑chain, manage long‑lead items, and support part selection and second‑sourcing.
• Track metrics such as on‑time delivery, cost, inventory levels, and supplier quality; conduct performance reviews and continuous improvement.
• Establish scalable procurement processes, tools, and workflows suitable for a growing hardware company.
• Ensure compliance with trade, customs, and regulatory requirements across the supply base.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials management for hardware or manufactured products.
• Proven experience sourcing and managing suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic components.
• Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), materials planning, lead times, and cost/quality trade‑offs.
