Supplier Quality / Development Engineer

About the role

Radiant is building the world’s first mass‑produced portable nuclear microreactors. The Supplier Quality / Development Engineer will create and own a supplier reliability program that ensures every part meets the required standard, on time, every time. This is a builder role focused on establishing processes, standards, and capabilities for a brand‑new supply base.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end supplier qualification and onboarding process, including pre‑assessments, capability reviews, audit execution and approval to the Approved Supplier List.
• Develop, refine and expand quality program documentation such as quality clauses, commodity‑specific requirements and the Supplier Quality Manual.
• Identify supplier capability gaps, design improvement plans, partner with suppliers to close gaps and track progress against milestones.
• Define and manage Radiant’s procurement assurance and acceptance framework, setting purchase order quality requirements and acceptance criteria across supplier types.
• Handle non‑conformances and corrective actions when they arise, while focusing on upstream process strengthening.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supplier quality, supplier development or a similar role within a manufacturing or high‑tech environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and audit processes.
• Ability to develop and execute supplier capability improvement plans.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
