Supplier Account Management III – Raw Materials Specialist

About the role

The Supplier Account Management III role focuses on managing raw‑material commodities, especially metallurgy of aluminum, stainless steel, brass and copper. The incumbent collaborates with mills and distributors to build a global sourcing and distribution strategy that supports all Applied Materials business units.

Key responsibilities

• Aligns and implements commodity strategies.
• Manages maintenance of agreements with suppliers that structure business relationships.
• Engages with the PLC process to ensure alignment with commodity strategies.
• Leads new supplier introductions and disengagements for the supply base.
• Supports resolution of systemic supply‑chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead‑time.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in metallurgy and related disciplines.
• Understands best practices in supply‑chain integration and market competition.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and can lead small projects.
• Solves complex problems using judgment from multiple information sources.
