Supervisor – In‑Service Repair Certification

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Supervisor of In‑Service Repair Certification for its Mobile Engineering Center in Mobile, AL. The role supports the Head of Airworthiness & Quality, ensuring compliance with EASA and FAA regulations and leading a team of certification engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day activities of the In‑Service Repair team, including task assignment, scheduling, resource allocation, performance monitoring and professional development.
• Lead airworthiness approvals for Airbus products and modifications, manage certification documentation, and coordinate with global certification teams and authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred) with 20+ years of progressive experience in commercial transport aircraft engineering and airworthiness certification.
• Proven experience in matrix organizations, ability to travel domestically and internationally, and authorized to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Airworthiness certification processes and compliance with EASA and FAA regulations.
• Design Organization Approval (DOA) procedures, including Repair & Design Approval Form (RDAF) handling.
