Summer Operations Analyst Internship

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Summer Intern to join the Support Operations Team in Mobile, AL. The internship focuses on optimizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) management and developing cost‑reduction strategies over a 10‑12‑week period.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze historical PPE expenditures to identify cost drivers and inefficiencies.
• Assess current PPE management processes across facilities and benchmark best practices.
• Develop and propose a cost‑reduction strategy, including optimized procurement and waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Create a tracking system to monitor PPE consumption and optimize stock levels.
• Deliver recommendations and implementation guidelines to ensure sustainability of the strategy.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an undergraduate program (minimum sophomore level) at an accredited university.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to temporarily reside in the Mobile, AL area for the internship.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
