Summer Internship – Industrial Engineering (PPE/IE)

About the role

Airbus’s Mobile Manufacturing Site in Alabama is seeking a summer intern to join the Industrial Engineering team. The 10‑12‑week program offers hands‑on experience in production line analysis, disruption mitigation and process performance engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Identify production line disruptions, develop and implement technical solutions, and introduce new aircraft modifications.
• Prepare in‑station plans to ensure tasks are completed within takt time as part of Process Performance Engineering.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, at least sophomore standing.
• Relevant school projects in engineering or manufacturing.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
