Summer Internship - Accounting Specialist

About the role

Join Satair’s Finance & Accounting team for a 12‑week summer internship in Peachtree City, GA. You will gain hands‑on experience across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, working closely with the Customer Resolution and Supply Management departments to support cash‑flow accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile customer payments and process vendor invoices.
• Assist with month‑end tasks, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Perform data clean‑up, request missing tax IDs and resolve duplicate vendor or customer profiles.
• Audit legacy vendor accounts, identify uncollected receivables and clean duplicate entries.
• Audit repetitive manual tasks and propose automation opportunities using the AI tool Gemini.
• Resolve invoice disputes by cross‑referencing purchase orders and proof‑of‑delivery documents.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, numerical proficiency and strong organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP.
