SUD Licensure Manager – Atlanta

About the role

Provide oversight and leadership to the teams responsible for licensure of Drug Abuse Treatment and Education Programs (DATEP) and Narcotic Treatment Programs (NTP) across Georgia. The manager will supervise surveyors, ensure quality of licensure reviews, and support facilities with guidance on regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of surveyors, overseeing their performance and professional growth.
• Ensure quality assurance of survey reports, providing feedback and maintaining high standards.
• Maintain and organize survey and travel schedules, coordinating 50‑75% travel as needed.
• Interpret data from reviews, communicate trends to stakeholders, and address facility challenges promptly.
• Represent DBHDD professionally in interactions with facilities and other agencies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a related field (psychology, social work, nursing, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• Five years of direct supervision/management experience, preferably in SUD/DATEP or NTP services.
• Experience coordinating staff schedules and travel, with strong time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
• Experience using electronic health record systems.
• Familiarity with Methasoft application.
