About the role

We are seeking a Student Employee to join the Clinical Staff – Medical Ancillary Support team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This temporary, fixed‑term position provides hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced healthcare environment while supporting patient care activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clinical staff with routine medical ancillary tasks such as patient preparation, equipment setup, and specimen handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical work areas in accordance with safety protocols.
• Document and track patient information accurately using hospital systems.
• Support scheduling and coordination of appointments under supervision.
• Provide courteous service to patients and visitors.

Required profile

• Current enrollment at the University of Arkansas System.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
