Structured Finance Director, Relationship Manager - ERA - Transportation Group

Key Responsibilities• Relationship Management & Business Development✓ Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with C-suite executives and treasury teams at major airlines, aircraft lessors, and rail companies across the US and Latin America✓ Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned client portfolio, understanding clients’ strategic objectives, capital needs, and operational challenges✓ Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing relationships and target prospects✓ Leverage sector expertise to identify and coordinate multi-product coverage initiatives with product specialists to deliver the bank’s full product offering and comprehensive client solutions, including advisory services and event-driven transactions✓ Drive revenue growth across lending, fees, and ancillary services • Credit Structuring & Execution Leadership:✓ Lead client presentations and negotiations to originate, structure and execute complex aircraft, engine, and rail financing transactions✓ Oversee the preparation of comprehensive credit proposals and presentations to credit committees for internal approval processes✓ Collaborate with credit, legal, operations, and product teams to execute transactions efficiently✓ Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements • Portfolio Management:✓ Monitor credit quality and proactively manage risk exposure of assigned client portfolio✓ Conduct regular portfolio reviews and client credit assessments✓ Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting in CRM systems✓ Contribute to development of junior team members • Market Intelligence & Strategy:✓ Stay current on transportation industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments✓ Provide market intelligence to inform business strategy and product development✓ Represent the bank at industry conferences and networking events✓ Contribute to sector strategy and annual business planning processes
