Strategy & Operations Associate, Marketplace

About the role

Shiftsmart is building a digital marketplace that connects flexible workers with top brands. As a Strategy & Operations Associate on the Marketplace team, you will help launch and scale high‑quality shift fulfillment for new customer launches, ensuring the right workers are assigned, show up, and complete shifts as expected.

Key responsibilities

• Own shift‑fulfillment targets for new customer launches and drive high‑quality delivery (fill rate).
• Execute onboarding campaigns, marketplace analytics, bonuses/incentives, and hands‑on partner conversion tactics.
• Use Google Sheets, SQL and other analytical tools to identify gaps, efficiency opportunities, and product improvements.
• Proactively monitor in‑shift issues, triage risks, and coordinate cross‑functional resolution.
• Build repeatable processes, workflows and tooling to improve operational efficiency as programs scale.

Required profile

• High ownership with 1‑3 years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting or a fast‑paced environment.
• Analytical problem‑solver comfortable using data to drive decisions.
• Results‑driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Adaptable, independent and able to thrive in ambiguous situations.
