Strategic Finance Analyst – GTM Post‑Sales

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Strategic Finance professional to join its Finance team and partner with go‑to‑market (GTM) groups in post‑sales activities. The role will provide financial expertise, build models, and deliver insights that guide decisions around renewals, expansion, customer retention, cost‑to‑serve and capacity planning.

Key responsibilities

• Advise post‑sales stakeholders on financial strategies, investments and resource allocation using deep knowledge of Anthropic’s financials.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to analyse data, construct financial models and recommend actions for renewal forecasting, expansion, customer retention economics, cost‑to‑serve and headcount planning.
• Prepare and present concise financial reports and analyses for planning cycles, business reviews, cost tracking and investment cases.
• Design and maintain dashboards and scorecards that monitor operational and financial metrics throughout the post‑sales customer lifecycle.
• Work with strategic finance, FP&A, revenue operations and accounting teams to align GTM plans with overall financial strategy.

Required profile

• Experience in strategic finance, GTM finance, FP&A, private equity, venture capital, consulting or investment banking.
• Strong analytical ability to turn data into actionable insights and to build and maintain complex financial operating models.
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills for navigating complex financial challenges.
• Proven ability to communicate financial concepts to non‑financial audiences and to build relationships across functions.
• Passion for Anthropic’s mission to develop safe, beneficial AI systems.
