Strategic Deals Leader, Compute & Infrastructure

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Strategic Deals Leader to define and execute its long‑term AI infrastructure strategy. You will originate, structure, negotiate and close complex transactions that secure the compute, hardware and networking resources needed to train and serve frontier AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to expand Anthropic’s access to compute, infrastructure and emerging AI technologies.
• Lead the full deal lifecycle for large‑scale infrastructure transactions, from opportunity identification to term‑sheet creation, negotiation, execution and close.
• Structure and negotiate agreements with hyperscalers, cloud providers, semiconductor and hardware suppliers, data‑center operators and networking vendors.
• Integrate capital‑markets and financing considerations into deal structures, including vendor financing and equipment leasing.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, finance, legal and executive teams to evaluate technology options and make build‑versus‑buy decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic partnership or deal‑making roles within technology or AI‑related ecosystems.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to design creative financing structures.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the capacity to close complex, multi‑party agreements on tight timelines.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, legal, finance and executive stakeholders.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure ecosystems.
• Knowledge of semiconductor supply chains and hardware procurement.
• Familiarity with data‑center networking and large‑scale compute environments.
