Store Supervisor – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

We are looking for a Store Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Beyond Yoga location in Westport, CT. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will ensure smooth opening and closing, drive process adoption and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the store as manager on duty, handling cash and overseeing merchandise operations including shipments, floor sets, markdowns and replenishment.
• Support and resolve customer concerns, partnering with the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager on escalated issues.
• Coach and supervise the team on selling culture, customer connection and performance metrics such as conversion, units per transaction and sales per hour.
• Lead onboarding and training of new hires, and step in to manage the store in the absence of other managers.
• Collaborate with Home Office and local community partners to plan events, increase brand awareness and foster inclusive work environment.

Required profile

• Proven retail leadership experience with a track record of supervising, coaching and training staff.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb and perform typical store duties (standing, walking, kneeling, etc.).
• Reliable transportation and high school diploma or GED preferred.
