Sterile Processing Technician – Orthopaedic & Spine Hospital

About the role

The Sterile Processing Technician will work in the Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital (TOSH) to ensure that surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for patient procedures. This position supports the delivery of safe, high‑quality care to patients throughout the hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and devices used in orthopaedic and spine surgeries.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processing cycles and adhere to infection‑control standards.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot sterilization equipment to guarantee optimal performance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in sterile processing preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
• Commitment to patient safety and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
