About the role
Join the YMCA Stay and Play program in Beloit, guiding children while parents are on site. This part‑time position involves supervising kids, meeting their basic needs, and encouraging them to explore interests and build confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Guide children in the Stay and Play area while parents/guardians are in the building.
- Supervise and nurture children, attending to their basic needs.
- Help children explore interests, develop talents and build self‑esteem.
Required profile
- Fun, engaging, welcoming and nurturing attitude.
- Early, punctual and reliable.
- Willingness to act as a role model and handle challenging conversations with parents or peers.
