Sr. Service Technician

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of its Envision at Sunset community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing defects in accordance with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building and property maintenance.
• Ability to work the schedule Sunday‑Thursday (8 am‑5 pm) with on‑call rotation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and procedural standards.
