Specialty Biller – Patient Financial Services

About the role

The Specialty Biller works within the Patient Financial Services department to ensure accurate and timely billing of healthcare services, supporting Kingman Healthcare's mission of delivering top‑quality clinical care.

Key responsibilities

• Process and submit clean claims for Medicare, Home Health, Hospice, corporate, Indian Health and liability services.
• Review UB04 and CMS 1500 claim forms for completeness, accuracy and reasonableness of charges.
• Resolve claim rejections, correct demographic information and manage denial reports to achieve timely reimbursement.
• Provide excellent customer service, communicate with payers, employers and patients, and participate in process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of medical billing or collections experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Required skills

• Medical billing using UB04 and CMS 1500 claim forms.
• Direct Data Entry (DDE) for Medicare claims.
• Proficiency with computer hardware and software applications relevant to billing.
