Sourcing Manager – Best Cost Location (BCL)

About the role

The Sourcing Manager – Best Cost Location (BCL) will lead global supply‑base optimization across multiple categories, focusing on strategic low‑cost regions. You will identify, evaluate and develop suppliers while balancing cost, quality, compliance and continuity in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess suppliers in Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Central and Latin America and other strategic regions.
• Conduct market intelligence on capabilities, pricing, capacity and sourcing opportunities.
• Lead supplier qualification, including capability, financial, quality and compliance assessments.
• Manage RFI, RFQ and RFP processes to support supplier selection.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts and long‑term agreements to achieve cost‑reduction targets.
• Develop total cost of ownership analyses and present sourcing recommendations to leadership.
• Monitor supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Logistics and Procurement teams to execute sourcing strategies and supplier transitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or sourcing.
• At least 1 year of direct experience in supplier evaluation, contract negotiation or supplier management.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
