Solar Installer

About the role

The Solar Installer will join the construction team at the Tennessee Colony, TX project, responsible for safely assembling and installing solar equipment according to project plans. You will work with a variety of tools and components to build functional solar systems on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean job site and organize materials.
• Bolt clamps for solar panels and secure torque tubes.
• Hoist, align, and install torque tubes and drive motors.
• Install dampeners, linkages, and solar modules.
• Tighten bolts to specified torque values.
• Receive, stock, and track materials with accurate inventory.
• Perform quality control checks on installed work.
• Complete equipment checklists and report any issues.
• Maintain and return tools in proper condition.
• General cleanup of debris and materials.
• Meet daily production goals in a fast‑paced environment.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by site leadership.

Required profile

• Experience with solar construction projects preferred but not required.
• Prior use of hand and power tools for mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull materials up to 50 lb.
• Capability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
• Comfort standing and walking for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
• Full use of hands, arms, shoulders, back, and visual perception.
• Self‑motivated, reliable attendance and teamwork orientation.
