Software Engineer – Real-Time Systems (TS/SCI Required)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to evaluate operational software problems, deliver immediate fixes, and integrate new baselines. The role requires US citizenship, an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, and offers a total compensation package of $180k‑$221k.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate operational software issues and provide rapid restoration solutions.
• Integrate and verify new software baselines.
• Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of software applications.
• Isolate sources of system errors or unexpected performance.
• Perform testing, integration, and delivery of new software releases.
• Conduct end‑to‑end analysis of complex operational systems.

Required profile

• US citizenship.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Java programming.
• C++ programming.
• Git or Bitbucket for configuration management.
• Linux/Unix environments.
• SQL database knowledge.
• JIRA for issue tracking.
• Confluence for documentation.
• Software development and integration experience.
