Software Engineer (Platforms & Integrations)

About the role

The Software Engineer (Platforms & Integrations) will design, build, and maintain the internal systems that connect Salma Health’s clinical operations, including EHR, CRM, billing, and research tools. Working closely with product, clinical, and data teams, you will ensure reliable, scalable data flows across the organization’s tech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain integrations between critical systems such as EHRs, CRM platforms, billing/RCM tools, and internal applications.
• Develop and support internal tools for care coordinators, clinicians, and administrative staff.
• Build cloud‑native services on AWS using serverless and event‑driven architectures.
• Implement APIs (REST/GraphQL) and event‑driven workflows to synchronize data across platforms.
• Monitor data integrity, perform reconciliation, and define reusable integration patterns.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in fast‑moving startup environments.
• Strong background in building backend systems, APIs, and third‑party integrations.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and operating applications on AWS or similar cloud providers.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with non‑technical stakeholders.

What we offer

• Base salary ranging from $123,000 to $183,000 per year, dependent on location and experience.
