Software Engineer

About the role

NinjaHoldings is looking for a Software Engineer to build new systems, enhance existing ones, and integrate with external services. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and product managers to design and implement features, influence roadmaps, and help deliver a world‑class financial product.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify software while considering service architecture.
• Analyze user needs to determine whether to build new components or adapt existing ones.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable code.
• Lead design and code reviews.
• Participate in discussions about the team’s vision and strategy.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience as a backend software engineer on non‑trivial web applications.
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with Hotwire Turbo, Stimulus, and Tailwind CSS is a plus.
• Critical thinking about business functionality and technical decisions.
