Software Engineer II – Batch Portal Development

About the role

The Software Engineer II will design, develop, test, and maintain software components for the Batch Portal platform. Working in an Agile environment, you will deliver reliable and scalable solutions that support product roadmaps and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Write and review detailed specifications for moderately complex system components.
• Design, implement, and maintain batch processing components, scheduled jobs, and plugin‑based extensions.
• Translate product requirements into software designs and production‑quality code.
• Apply best practices such as unit testing, code reviews, documentation, and code quality standards.
• Resolve moderately complex bugs and technical issues through analysis and debugging.
• Collaborate with product management, quality engineering, and operations in an Agile setting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing production‑quality software using Java or a similar language.
• Working knowledge of object‑oriented design, data structures, and the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks, Git, and continuous integration practices.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
