About the role

The State of Georgia’s Department of Community Supervision is seeking a Social Services Program Coordinator III to support the Georgia Commission on Family Violence. This role focuses on fatality review, data analysis, research, and statewide collaboration to strengthen Georgia’s response to family violence.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate local community fatality review processes using standardized qualitative and quantitative techniques.
• Partner with the Fatality Review Coordinator to fulfill VAWA grant activities and project deliverables.
• Co‑author and produce annual fatality review publications, supplemental data reports, and research briefs on domestic violence trends.
• Assist in compiling, editing, and distributing the monthly Georgia Domestic Violence Media Watch newsletter.
• Collect, clean, and manage domestic‑violence incident and fatality data from GCFV programs, partner agencies, and statewide sources.
• Track and maintain databases on statewide domestic‑violence‑related deaths in collaboration with the Fatality Review Project.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify correlations, emerging trends, and systemic gaps to inform policy development.

Required profile

• High level of knowledge and experience with sensitive family‑violence issues.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel periodically throughout the state.
