Social Services Program Consultant 3 – Revenue Maximization

About the role

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Social Services Program Consultant 3 to provide technical assistance and oversight for the Revenue Maximization field program, ensuring quality performance and compliance across regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitors and provides technical assistance to regional Revenue Maximization staff.
• Reviews reports and case review results to identify performance and assistance needs.
• Delivers corrective action support and coaching to regional teams.
• Communicates expected outcomes and accountability clearly.
• Collects and analyzes performance data and outcome indicators.
• Maintains knowledge of Gateway and SHINES data systems and child‑welfare policies.
• Performs monthly regional team evaluations to measure performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of professional experience, including at least one year in a lead, team‑leader or supervisory role, or two years at the Social Services Program Consultant 2 level.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations, child‑welfare policies, and best practices.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and experience providing eligibility determinations for government or human services programs.
