Social Media Video Editor (Remote)

About the role

WeAssist is seeking a full‑time Social Media Video Editor to join a fast‑growing personal injury law firm’s organic content team. The role is 100% remote and focuses on creating high‑impact short‑form videos for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and produce short‑form video content with strong visual impact, adding captions, transitions, sound effects, and branded elements.
• Create click‑worthy thumbnails and simple motion graphics to boost video performance.
• Brainstorm concepts, conduct influencer research, and align videos with campaign goals.
• Organize project assets in Google Drive, tag and categorize content, and manage multiple deadlines.
• Experiment with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Veo 3) to generate hooks, captions, and streamline production.

Required profile

• Proven experience editing short‑form social content using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong storytelling instincts and ability to translate ideas into compelling videos.
• Up‑to‑date on social video trends and formats.
• Capacity to produce 5–8 finished videos per day without sacrificing quality.
• Fast‑paced, self‑motivated, and comfortable collaborating with a remote team.
• Reliable internet connection and familiarity with Google Drive.
