Social and Community Manager

About the role

Fireworks is building the future of generative AI infrastructure and needs a Social and Community Manager to shape the conversation around its cutting‑edge technology. You will monitor fast‑moving AI trends, craft narratives, and deliver on‑brand content that resonates with developers and the broader AI community.

Key responsibilities

• Track real‑time conversations about AI and Fireworks, judge relevance, and act quickly on high‑impact moments.
• Develop and execute narrative‑driven social media and community strategies that generate organic buzz.
• Monitor Discord, social platforms, and analytics tools daily; report on engagement, reach, sentiment, and community health.
• Create data‑informed, shareable content formats that simplify technical AI topics.
• Moderate community discussions, answer questions, welcome new members, and run programs such as ambassador initiatives, newsletters, AMAs, and cohorts.
• Plan and support virtual or in‑person events, webinars, and meetups, measuring impact and sharing insights with marketing, product, and engineering teams.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in social media or community management, preferably with developer or AI audiences.
• Strong judgment to differentiate signal from noise and to time communications effectively.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to turn metrics into actionable recommendations.
