Snowflake Data Engineer with Apache Doris Experience

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer with hands‑on experience in Apache Doris to join its Retail, Consumer Goods and Logistics unit in Austin, TX. The role is positioned at Technology Consultant 2 level and focuses on designing, building, and maintaining cloud‑based data solutions for high‑impact client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements during the elicitation phase.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions for software solutions.
• Develop, test, and integrate new features into existing applications while ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Provide user training, documentation, and support to enable smooth adoption of new applications.
• Diagnose production issues, coordinate bug fixes, and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing procedures, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Proven capability to translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
