SMB Account Manager - Services

About the role

Square is looking for a passionate partner to help small‑business service providers thrive. You will work directly with owners of salons, personal trainers and similar businesses, understanding their unique challenges and guiding them to adopt Square’s integrated tools.

Key responsibilities

• Own, retain, and grow a portfolio of SMB services merchants, driving adoption of Square’s product suite.
• Expand accounts through product adoption, upselling, and value‑based recommendations.
• Serve as the voice of merchants within Square, advocating for their needs and providing insights that influence product development.
• Balance proactive outreach, retention activities, and growth opportunities with strong organization and time‑management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Support and Product teams to ensure a seamless experience for customers across all Square solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in sales, account management or a related field.
• Genuine passion for small‑business owners in the services sector.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor and solve complex business scenarios.
