Site Superintendent – Luxury Residential Construction

About the role

I‑Grace, a premier high‑end residential construction firm, is seeking an experienced, licensed Site Superintendent to lead its most prestigious luxury projects in New York. The role oversees all on‑site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while acting as the primary liaison for subcontractors and the design team.

Key responsibilities

• Review scopes of work, maintain familiarity with project schedule and budget, and propose efficiency improvements.
• Prepare progress schedules, two‑week look‑aheads, and manpower request reports using the APMS.
• Supervise all on‑site work, including subcontractors, field personnel, deliveries, and installations; issue daily work schedules.
• Maintain on‑site documentation such as time sheets, work orders, RFIs, daily field reports, and construction files.
• Conduct weekly toolbox talks and enforce OSHA safety standards; report accidents within 24 hours.
• Attend job‑site meetings, coordinate with inspectors, and assist with punch‑list completion and owner manuals.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of site management experience on high‑end residential projects.
• Active Site Superintendent license (e.g., NYC Dept. of Buildings Registered Construction Superintendent) or equivalent.
• OSHA 40‑Hour certification (OSHA 62 preferred).
• Knowledge of scaffold safety, asbestos, mold, lead, and silica hazards.
