Site Reliability Engineer – San Antonio, TX

About the role

The Site Reliability Engineer will join Infosys' Cloud unit in San Antonio, helping clients build scalable, secure and cost‑effective infrastructure. You will work with cutting‑edge cloud technologies and collaborate with both internal and client teams to ensure high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, conduct root‑cause analyses and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, prepare assessment reports and support due‑diligence activities.
• Design scalable, cost‑effective infrastructure solutions, review reusable components and develop technical documentation.
• Align release schedules, execute deployments, perform post‑deployment testing and manage version control.
• Coordinate maintenance windows, emergency fixes and technology upgrades while ensuring uninterrupted service.
• Facilitate performance data analysis, provide insights on system behavior and support capacity planning.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills and other resilience activities.

Required profile

• Experience in incident resolution, root‑cause analysis and documentation of preventive actions.
• Ability to assess IT infrastructure and produce actionable improvement reports.
• Proven track record designing scalable, cost‑effective cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with release management, deployment protocols and version control.
• Capability to coordinate maintenance, emergency fixes and technology upgrades.
• Experience analyzing performance data and supporting capacity planning.
• Knowledge of security testing and recovery drill execution.
