Show Social Manager for NBA Podcast (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Show Social Manager to lead the social media presence of a premium NBA podcast. This independent contractor position will run from September through July, supporting live coverage of the NBA season and related events.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day programming and optimization across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X and other platforms.
• Monitor live NBA games and major events to post real‑time updates, recaps, scores and cultural moments.
• Plan, create and schedule social‑first content that aligns with weekly episodes and seasonal storylines.
• Generate branded content ideas and assist with sponsor integration and approval processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing high‑growth social accounts on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and X.
• Deep, authentic knowledge of NBA basketball, its memes, storylines and culture.
• Willingness to work non‑traditional hours, including nights and weekends during the NBA season.
• Preference for candidates residing in the New York/New Jersey area.
