About the role
We are looking for a hands‑on Shop Assistant to keep our build floor running and support the engineering team at Sentradel, which builds autonomous counter‑drone systems.
Key responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and prepare metal stock and raw materials for builds.
- Receive shipments, track parts, and stage materials for projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked shop environment.
- Support engineers and the wider team with build‑related tasks.
- Operate basic shop equipment and hand/power tools safely.
Required profile
- Hands‑on, mechanically inclined and comfortable with physical work.
- Reliable, punctual, detail‑oriented and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good attitude, takes initiative and works well with others.
- Must be a US person (citizen or green‑card holder).
Required skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and cutting equipment.
- Experience in metal fabrication or preparation.
