Shift Supervisor – A220 Production (3rd Shift)

About the role

Airbus is seeking an Operations (Shift) Supervisor for the A220 production line on the 3rd shift at its Mobile, AL facility. The role provides technical leadership, oversees manufacturing activities, and ensures safety, quality, and schedule adherence across the station.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and monitor production activities, ensuring progress of aircraft through the station.
• Lead the multi‑functional team in the Business Unit Leader’s absence and enforce OSHA safety rules.
• Coordinate station activities with other FALs, management, and support functions such as Quality and Procurement.
• Develop manpower forecasts, manage material availability, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Oversee documentation hand‑over, attendance, time management, and value‑added time approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of aviation manufacturing experience and 2‑5 years of leadership experience.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle complex information in a matrixed environment.
